Rob Morgan

Rob Morgan is President and CEO of Strathcona Resources. He is a Professional Engineer with over 35 years of management, technical and operations experience.

Prior to joining predecessor Cona Resources in 2017 he was Senior Vice President and COO for Crew Energy and prior to, COO Upstream for Harvest Operations Corp. He was Vice President Operations and Corporate Development at Viking Energy Royalty Trust which merged with Harvest Energy Trust in 2006. From 1985 to 2004, Mr. Morgan held various management, senior technical and field positions at a number of upstream energy companies in Western Canada.

He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a BSc. in Chemical Engineering, a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA, a member of the Alberta Securities Commission Petroleum Advisory Committee, a member of the Board of Directors of the Explorers and Producers Society of Canada and of the Calgary Stetson Show Band.
